These images are a meditation on the meeting of earth and sky, the changing quality of light, and the place of peace and promise that is the horizon. The contrast between ink and graphite mirrors the subtle forms and infinite textures inherent in land and air, and the measured process of printing and drawing allows for prolonged focus on different views of the visual metaphor that is the horizon.
